Mul\u021bi p\u0103rin\u021bi ajung s\u0103 cread\u0103 c\u0103, dac\u0103 micu\u021bul \u0219tie culori, cifre, litere, animale sau poate r\u0103spunde corect la diverse \u00eentreb\u0103ri, atunci progresul este garantat. \u00cen realitate, aceast\u0103 abordare risc\u0103 s\u0103 ignore esen\u021bialul: copilul nu are nevoie, \u00een primii ani de via\u021b\u0103, s\u0103 fie un mic enciclopedist, ci s\u0103 devin\u0103 un om capabil s\u0103 se descurce \u00een lumea real\u0103, s\u0103 comunice, s\u0103 se adapteze \u0219i s\u0103 fie independent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Psihologia dezvolt\u0103rii arat\u0103 de zeci de ani c\u0103 \u00eenv\u0103\u021barea autentic\u0103 apare prin interac\u021biune, explorare \u0219i experien\u021b\u0103 direct\u0103. Teoriile formulate de Jean Piaget eviden\u021biaz\u0103 faptul c\u0103 dezvoltarea cognitiv\u0103 se construie\u0219te etapizat, prin ac\u021biune concret\u0103 asupra mediului, iar perspectiva sociocultural\u0103 a lui Lev Vygotsky subliniaz\u0103 rolul major al interac\u021biunii cu adul\u021bii \u0219i cu ceilal\u021bi copii \u00een formarea abilit\u0103\u021bilor. Cu alte cuvinte, copilul \u00eenva\u021b\u0103 tr\u0103ind, nu repet\u00e2nd mecanic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00cen primii ani, creierul este orientat \u00een special c\u0103tre adaptare: dezvoltarea motricit\u0103\u021bii, comunicarea func\u021bional\u0103, reglarea emo\u021bional\u0103, rela\u021bionarea social\u0103 \u0219i autonomia. Abilit\u0103\u021bile academice apar firesc mai t\u00e2rziu, atunci c\u00e2nd aceste baze sunt consolidate. Un copil care \u0219tie s\u0103 cear\u0103 ce are nevoie, s\u0103 se joace cu sens, s\u0103 coopereze, s\u0103 se \u00eengrijeasc\u0103 par\u021bial singur \u0219i s\u0103 tolereze frustrarea va \u00eenv\u0103\u021ba mult mai u\u0219or \u0219i literele, \u0219i cifrele. \u00cen schimb, un copil care memoreaz\u0103 informa\u021bii f\u0103r\u0103 s\u0103 le aplice \u00een via\u021ba real\u0103 poate r\u0103m\u00e2ne blocat \u00een situa\u021bii simple, de\u0219i \u201e\u0219tie multe\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De aceea apare frecvent discrepan\u021ba dintre copilul care r\u0103spunde perfect la fi\u0219e \u0219i copilul care nu se descurc\u0103 \u00een realitatea zilnic\u0103. El poate recunoa\u0219te imagini, poate repeta corect, dar nu ini\u021biaz\u0103 comunicarea, nu generalizeaz\u0103 ceea ce a \u00eenv\u0103\u021bat \u0219i nu folose\u0219te spontan informa\u021bia. Creierul stocheaz\u0103 date, \u00eens\u0103 nu le transform\u0103 \u00een comportamente func\u021bionale. Via\u021ba nu este un test psihologic. Copilul are nevoie s\u0103 fac\u0103 singur, s\u0103 \u00eencerce, s\u0103 depun\u0103 efort \u0219i s\u0103 simt\u0103 bucuria reu\u0219itei. Stima de sine se construie\u0219te atunci c\u00e2nd copilul descoper\u0103 c\u0103 poate: \u201eAm reu\u0219it\u201d, \u201ePot singur\u201d, \u201eSunt capabil\u201d. Supraprotec\u021bia, ajutorul excesiv \u0219i evitarea frustr\u0103rii \u2013 chiar dac\u0103 pornesc din iubire \u2013 pot bloca tocmai acest proces. Atunci c\u00e2nd adultul face mereu \u00een locul copilului, acesta nu \u00ee\u0219i dezvolt\u0103 voin\u021ba \u0219i nu simte nevoia s\u0103 \u00eencerce. F\u0103r\u0103 efort personal nu apare progresul real.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La fel de important este modul \u00een care copilul este motivat. Condi\u021bionarea constant\u0103 prin recompense externe poate produce rezultate rapide pe termen scurt, dar pe termen lung sl\u0103be\u0219te motiva\u021bia intern\u0103. Copilul ajunge s\u0103 ac\u021bioneze doar pentru a primi ceva, nu pentru pl\u0103cerea de a \u00eenv\u0103\u021ba sau pentru satisfac\u021bia propriei reu\u0219ite. \u00cen via\u021ba real\u0103 nu exist\u0103 recompense pentru fiecare pas; exist\u0103 dorin\u021ba de a explora, de a reu\u0219i \u0219i de a fi autonom.
